The list consists of the Taj Mahal in India, Petra in Jordan, Colosseum in the Italian city of Rome, Machu Picchu in Perú, Great Wall of China, Chichen Itza in Mexico and Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.

i dont believe in these 7 new wonders and in how da election was held !!!
it was just for collecting money and makin ads for the sponsers of da election.
in my opinion it has failed realy the old wonders were much more fantastic than these new ones. also da UNISCO didnt admit them.

i didnt imagine that da pyramids will be excluded.......:s
there are many many other places better than these chosen.

When the old 7 wonders were chosen by UNESCO years ago..some of the present wonders were there.. but were not chosen .. but as some gambler came to collect money and the country who will give more votes(more money)their wonder will be named.. Egypt refused to share in this stupid voting
as the Pyramids are Wonderer of the wonders.. and didn't pay any cent..so the name of the pyramids did not appear.

I agree with you completely and i still wonder about what was the criteria that they follow to name those new wonders as wonders of the world and why the wonders must be 7 not 8 or 10 or 20 for example...i still smelling there was a dirty game and dirty money related to those wonders selections
