Kyon Ki Movie Review
Kyon Ki Movie Review
Kyon Ki is a tale of two relationships, three lovers and a plethora of emotions. It is the Hindi adaptation of Priyadarshan’s Malayalam movie Thalavattam that starred Mohanlal.

The film begins in a hospital where Kareena Kapoor is working as a psychiatrist. The hosiptal is running under the supervision of her father [Om Puri]. She is an energetic and optimistic doctor whose sole aim is to serve her patient. She does not demand anything in return. She is engaged to Sunil Shetty, who is from America and is also a Doctor.

Actual drama takes place when a mental patient [Salman Khan] is admitted there. Anand (Salman Khan) lost his mental balance after the tragic death of his girlfriend. He is admitted into a mental hospital where patients are treated with aggression and force. This style of treatment has the approval of the hospital’s owner Dr. Khurana (Om Puri), who believes that mentally unstable patients should be treated likewise. Khurana’s daughter, Dr. Tanvi (Kareena Kapoor), too, has little sympathy for Anand.

Initially, Kareena treats Salman as just another patient. But eventually She realises this one is special in more way than one! She reads Salman's diary that reveals the past of Salman. The story in the diary goes something like this....

Shaadi No. 1 Veer and Diya
Veer and Diya
Shaadi No. 1 tells the story of three couples – Raj (Fardeen Khan)-Bhavana (Ayesha Takia), Veer (Zayed Khan)-Diya (Esha Deol) and Aryan (Sharman Joshi)-Sonia (Soha Ali Khan).

The three out-of-work husbands get little time and respect from their respective wives. As a desperate step out of their misery, the three men try to commit suicide. But even death won’t have them. Having failed in their own suicidal attempt, they then save a businessman (Kothari) from ending his life. Every things goes fine till Kothari ask the three boys to falsely fall in love to his three daughters, and ditch them later because he don’t want her daughter to do love marriage. They succeed in wooing the three sexy girls and in the process they also fall in love with them.

The conclusion to the story, the strange finale, only dashes the high expectations raised by the first hour of the movie. On the whole, more was expected from ”Shaadi No.1” after going through its attractive trailers but unfortunately it did not live up to the high expectations.

Koi Aap Sa Movie Review

Koi Aap Sa
Koi Aap Sa
This is the story of three friends – Rohan (Aftab Shivdasani), Simran, (Natassha) and Priti (Dipannita Sharma). They have as much fun fighting as they have making up.

Their lives are full of fun, frolic and in Rohan’s case – football. Rohan is basically a fun loving and sporty guy. He doesn’t have a worry in the world! However, during the course of the movie, other sides to his character are revealed.

Watching Koi Aap Sa is like watching a big screen version of the soppy and pretentiously dramatic Ektaa Kapoor soap operas that we see on television.

Director Partho Mitra makes a forgettable debut with this movie. But for a few stray portions in the film, Koi Aap Sa is a boring, emotionally fluffy movie. It was intended to stir your emotions. But it only leaves you drowsy.
