Taare Zameen Par Movie Review

Very rarely do you get to see such great films that touch your heart and make you a better person. Hats off to Aamir Khan for giving us an exceptional film. Exceptional, because it serves the higher purpose of art, cinema in this case.

‘Taare Zameen Par’ is about a little boy, or shall I say a little flower that has been nipped so many times in the bud that it begins to wilt. But then comes the gardener, the man who lets, and helps, the bud to flower fully.

Welcome Movie Review

'Welcome’ is a comedy starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif as two lovers facing strong opposition to their marriage because of the entirely different backgrounds of their families. The movie begins on a promising note with Nana Patekar, the boss of the city, trying to find a suitable match for his sister from a respectable" family. But the movie falters midway with too much of slapstick comedy and poor jokes.

Strangers Movie Review

Inspiration from a Hollywood classic apart, director Anand Rai’s film ‘Strangers’ is a fairly engrossing thriller with a riveting denouement. Rai makes excellent use of Black & White at interesting moments during the narration which lends a touch of Hollywood to the film. The script is a winner so is the direction, production values, editing and the performances of all four actors - Kay Kay Menon, Sonali Kulkarni, Jimmy Sheirgill and Nandana Sen.

Khoya Khoya Chand Movie Review

One thing ‘Khoya Khoya Chand’ succeeds in doing is transporting you to a different world. Now, whether you like that world is another question. It is a beautiful rendition of emotions which are complex, ego and power tussle between man and woman. A very subtle portrayal indeed which the mass audience may not understand. This movie is a genre apart. It is very close to heart and everyone can attach some part of their lives with this movie. We all have gone through ups and downs emotionally and can relate to it.
