What, How much and when to eat is totally a persons right. Nobody should ban it. The governmental concern is right if considered from the point of view that todays parents have no time to teach their children what is right and wrong. But this issue can be handled with a little more maturity from the government. What i mean here is that the government should standard-ise the food items sold in and around the school and college campus. For ex. the kind of oil, the amount of calories that the food carries, the areas where this food is made should be kept clean and hygienic. Junk food is something everybody craves for not just kids. So many times we see a huge crowd of office going people enjoying their cutting chai with a hot vada-pav or kachhi dabheli outside their office buildings. In this case, even that is junk food.
Education should be given in school as to much of some food item should be a limit in the growing childrens diet. Parents should also talk to their children about it.
These days children are more health cautious than elders... acc to me.. thats what i have seen atleast. If you observe lots of teenagers are turning to having fruit juices or milkshakes rather than soft drinks.
thats all i have to say for now
