here r the cans with their capacities..
                   

                 5l             3l


1 step:        0             3     ( this means 3l can is filled)
2 step:        3             0     ( this means that 3l is poured into 5l)
3 step:        3             3     ( this means fill 3l can again)
4 step:        5             1     (this means the 4l can gets filled leaving 1l in3l can)
5 step:        0             1     ( this means empty the 5l can)
6 step:        1             0     ( this means pour that 1l from 3l can into 5l can)
7 step:        1             3     ( this means fill again the 3l can)
8 step:        4             0     ( this means u get the required 4l in 5l can)
