well many will disagree abt wat am going to say:
i dont think abortion is murder. if u knw u wont b able to feed the child properly or give him proper care n meet his needs, why shud u continue with ur pregnancy, esp in large families where there r many mouths to feed?
already the problem of overpopulation is acute in slums, so what is the problem if you terminate the pregnancy in hygienic conditions? of course, the woman should b ensured a proper follow up for her psyche.
+ wat about those who have been raped? surely getting rid of unwanted children is not murder.
Now on the other side of the coin, I do agree wen u say it breeds promiscuity. Nor do i accept the idea of backstreet abortions where the risk of infections is high.
But its true dat on religious grounds, it is murder, no issues abt dat :)

i guess they "we all" need to be given chance to live..
