(1/1)
!! jäÿësh lövë !!:
Welcome to the Image room of FunOnTheNet
Section Moderators :
CynthiaJayesh LoveSahil (<<<heartHrOb>>>)
Here are a few Guidelines and FAQs about the Image Room:
As we all know that we have two image boards:-
The Image Room - Celebrities, Places, People
The Image Room for all Non-Funny Pictures. eg. Celebrities, Places, People etc.
http://www.funonthenet.in/forums/index.php?board=17.0
The Image Room - Funny Pictures
Only Funny Pictures or Funny Cartoons here!
http://www.funonthenet.in/forums/index.php?board=35.0
All mature and adult content goes to Mature Jokes/Pics Section.
You can also post Informative, Celebrity, Humourous, or other type of videos in the Image rooms. The only thing to keep in mind is that all funny images/videos goes to the 2nd board and rest goes to board no.1.
Things to Remember:
It's a good thing to avoid reposts. Everytime that you will post a topic,
it's a good habit to use the search bar:
To make the search easier, you may choose a unique, seldomly used word that would lessen the search results.
If we practice this habit, our efforts of posting are not wasted.
If you noticed that some of the topic started is a repost, or some unwanted comments are made upon, we will be
thankful if you use the "Report to moderator" button, and put the reason of the said report.
Spammers and advertisements are not allowed.
Any concerns and healthy suggestions are welcomed and well appreciated. Feel free to PM any of the section moderators and we'll do
our level best to attend on that matter.
Tutorials regarding how to upload Images through different ways and how to embed videos are explained in the other two replies respectively.
As Per Forum Guidelines (Rule No 6 & 12) : Members are not allowed to Use or Misuse Name of other Members in their Post Subject Or inside the Main post.
MaxX:
Many new members have been finding it tough to put Images on FunOnTheNet, This small FAQ will guide you with 2 different and easy ways of putting up pictures on Board:
1) One way is by attaching the picture to the post (upto 2 MB). This can be done by clicking the + sign next to additional options and adding attachments. but this will put the attached images in the bottom of the reply :)
Users can now put image attachments (or any other attachments) anywhere they want within a post. Also they can create thumbnails for the inline images.
Instructions for Use:
Just attach images to your post as normal.
And then inside your post use the following options to indicate where you want the
attachment (image or other) to be shown.
See below for more options -
You dont need to remember the syntax as there is a drop down while replying/making new posts for inline attachments, just remember what each one does :)
Code:
[attach=#] says insert normal attachment #specified there
(ie will be url link if non image, or default img or thumbnail based on server settings).
for example, [attach=1]
[attachthumb=#] says to insert a thumbnail of the image (user can click for full sized image).
For example, [attachthumb=1]
[attachturl=#] says insert url link even if the attachment is an image
(useful if you want to attach images as simple url download links but not show
them as pictures anywhere in post). For example, [attachurl=1]
[attachmini=#] same as attachurl but dont shown any details like file size and download count
Some nice aspects:
When an attachment is shown inline, it will automatically NOT also be
shown at the bottom of a post; however if isn't shown inline it will
be shown at bottom of post as normal.
2) The second way is by uploading the picture to imageshack and putting it in the post via bbcode. It is very easy and I will describe the procedure here -
1) Go to www.imageshack.us
2) Click on browse select the picture and click on the "host it" button
3) Select the last option named "Direct link to image" as marked in the picture below - (The option to choose is circled in the picture attached below)
4) Right click and click copy. Then in the post you are making, rightclick and click paste.
5) You have to put image tags around the link to the image. This can be done by selecting/marking the image link and clicking on the image button as illustrated in the picture below.
Finally it would look something like this -
Code:
[img]http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/7238/abridgetotheisland8lp.jpg[/img]
Note the starting img tag before and the closing img tag after the link.
