Fight Club Bollywood Movie Review Fight Club Review Actors Sohail Khan .... Sameer Zayed Khan .... Vicky Ritesh Deshmukh .... Somil Dino Morea .... Karan Ashish Choudhary .... Diku Amrita Arora .... Mohit Director Vicky Chopra Producer Sohail Khan A ’Fight Club’ that comprises of boys turning into men - Vicky (Zayed Khan), Karan (Dino Morea), Somil (Ritiesh Deshmukh) and Diku (Aashish Choudhary). Each of them shares an amazing camaraderie with each other. They have fun together, they are as much as real brothers than just being friends and they know that they can get out of any situation if they are together. Fight Club is pretentiously high on style but short on substance. The film leaves one totally numb with its overemphasis on loud background score and flashy camerawork. The film tests your patience and intelligence.Anand Raj Anand’s music is so bad, you would not have heard it anyway. The case must have only helped sell a few more albums. The songs, which were mostly dream sequences, were too many and too boring.Comedy, in the form of Ashish and Zayed, was loud and crude. The background score is deafening to say the least. And most action sequences were unwanted and avoidable. Director Vikram Chopra, does nothing to leave an impression.. There are no highs or lows in the narrative or interesting twists and turns to keep you engrossed. In fact, the story moves on aimlessly and the viewer often wonders what the director is trying to say or convey through the film. The performances are equally dull. Sunil Shetty seems to have dragged himself out of retirement only to help out old friend Sohail Khan. Ditto for Dino Morea, who grins and bears the eminently forgettable role he has graciously consented to play. Zayed is no better or worse than half a dozen star kids who are obviously clueless about the art of acting. The ’heroines’ have done complete justice to their roles. Whether its expressions or clothes, they display as little as they can.Amrita Arora is, at best, a poor man’s Mallika Sherawat, but cannot match mallika’s sexuality. Finally,Rahul Dev stands out with a decent performance. He gives life to an under-developed role, adding menace with his mean eyes and irritating laugh. Hope he gets meatier parts in more meaningful, watchable films. On the whole, FIGHT CLUB is a weak fare with poor prospects. But this film, despite its multi-star cast, might not do well at all. Actors can do little with a bad script. Some action shots are well done, but overall the film sucks.
