The media inundates us with lists of India's hottest heroines, sexiest item girls, top female models and, even, Sania Mirza's cutest on-court outfits.
So, when our female audience cried foul, and asked for some male-centric features, we decided to check out the prime male real estate that's currently open for development.
For your reading -- and, of course, viewing pleasure -- here's a list of India's most eligible bachelors.
And men, don't be upset. After all, what's fair is fair, right?
Rahul Gandhi: Age 38
For the ambitious lady who wants to move about the country's highest circles, there is no better match in all of India! Born into modern-day royalty, young Rahul Gandhi has always seemed a bright star destined for big things.
After his Harvard education and work experience in the West, Rahul fulfilled his destiny by returning home and taking up the family business -- India's national politics.
Following his powerful and passionate recent defence of the Nuclear Deal, Rahul's future career looks mighty promising. While today just a Congress Party MP from UP's Amethi, one day, he might be India's prime minister.
It's been rumoured that he's had a girlfriend or two in the past, but all recent accounts say he's single. Earlier this month, he reportedly told a group of schoolchildren in Bhopal, "I don't know when I am getting married. I am looking for an open-minded girl."
Kunal Kapoor: Age 32
Healthy, hearty hunk Kunal Kapoor smashed onto the scene with 2006's Rang De Basanti. Though, since then, his career hasn't again recreated such dizzying success, he has kept his name in headlines.
Known for his swarthy good looks and long, flowing locks, Kunal fits into the Hrithik Roshan and John Abraham mould of hard-bodied young heroes with an edge. Best thing is, unlike Hrithik and John, this one is as of yet unclaimed!
Shahid Kapoor: Age 27
He made one hell of a splash with 2004's Ishq Vishk, and that success continues today, most recently with 2008's Kismat Konnection.
But the truth is, Shahid has always been a star. It's in the genes. Pankaj Kapoor is doubtless one of India's finest actors, and son Shahid has inherited a good deal of that talent.
He's always proved he can land almost any woman, including Bollywood's leading lady, Kareena Kapoor. Fortunately for you love-struck females, the couple recently called off their on-again-off-again, three year romance, leaving the scrumptious Shahid absolutely, positively single.
Dino Morea: Age 32
Is there a hotter man in all of Bollywood? Some might say Sallu Khan, others John Abraham, but for our money, Dino takes the cake.
He combines rugged, European good looks (Italian father) with Asian exoticism (Indian mother).
It's no wonder Bipasha Basu fell head over heels for Mr Morea a few years back.
Thing is, he's back on the market, and demanding a premium price. Ladies, queue up!
Vivek Oberoi: Age 31
If there's a better looking bachelor than Dino, it has to be Vivek Oberoi. Known for his rude attitude and fine acting prowess, Vivek is one of Bollywood's great enigmas.
Ladies, hope a little competition doesn't intimidate you.
In the past, Vivek has dated models Gurpreet Gill and Aishwarya Rai.
Rahul Bose: Age 40
What list of bachelors would be complete without Rahul? He's one part athlete (skilled rugby player and boxer), one part businessman (advertising), one part film industry veteran (writer and director) and, perhaps most importantly, one part humanitarian (NGOs are his passion).
Ladies, this guy is not just a jack of all trades, master of none. The good looking Bengali is, in fact, a master of all! Milind Deora: Age 31
Like father, like son.
Milind Deora, son of veteran politician Murli Deora, is a Lok Sabha MP, and represents the same south Mumbai constituency his father presided over from 1984-1996.
In India, 'politician' can at times serve as a synonym for crook or gangster. But unlike much of the rabble in Delhi, Milind is classy, debonair and handsome. He is also a fun guy who loves playing the guitar. An alumnus of the prestigious Cathedral and John Connon School in Mumbai, he has unadulterated access to the island city's elite social circles.
And best of all, he's single!
Upen Patel: Age 27
Upen Patel and his characteristic cleft chin has been wooing women ever since he won Zee TV's 2002 Supermodel Hunt, which led to modelling gigs with some of the world's top brands.
Then, in 2006, he elevated his star status with his Bollywood debut, 36 China Town. His Casanova good looks and fine dancing skills propelled him to heart-throb status, and he's done nothing to relinquish that title.
Today, the society pages are filled with Upen-related gossip, with stories that usually involve one or more lucky ladies!
Prithviraj Sukumaran: Age 25
Above all else, women like men who are motivated and have direction in life. With Prithviraj, that's exactly the case.
The prodigious South Indian actor has appeared in dozens of Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil films, and he's only 25.
Given his tremendous star power, he's rightfully earned his status as one of India's brightest film heroes, and 2008 has been arguably his biggest year yet. In interviews, Prithviraj likes to say, "I want to act till the day I die!"
Ladies, hop onboard! Don't delay!
Sreesanth: Age 25
Ahh, nearly the youngest guy on our list! And look at those cheeks: what a cutie!
Some women love the tough guys, the ones who aren't afraid of confrontation and showing their aggression. Other women like soft, emotional types, the ones who get emotional watching sappy romantic comedies.
With Sreesanth, they have both. Here's a guy unafraid to battle it out with Australian giants Matthew Hayden and Andrew Symonds. But on the other hand, he was quick to shed tears when ace spinner Harbhajan gave him two-three smacks after their 20/20 altercation.
Oh, and he's one hell of a dancer.
Yuvraj Singh: Age 26
The man who famously hit six sixes in an over against England has always been a hit with women.
His hard-partying antics and late nights have given him the reputation of a bad boy and a ladies man.
The old adage says that nice guys finish last. If that's true, we expect to find Yuvraj leading the pack of eligible bachelors for quite some timeMahendra Singh Dhoni: Age 27
Ladies love a man who can take charge. With Indian cricket's T20 and ODI captain, MS Dhoni, that's exactly what they're getting. Like Sreesanth, he's been romantically linked to Tamil cinestar Lakshmi Rai in the past, but word is that MS is currently living the bachelor's highlife.
Ladies, now's the time to strike!
Sidhartha Mallya: Age 21
Easily the most eligible bachelor in India's corporate world, Sidhartha is the only son of charismatic Kingfisher tycoon, Vijay Mallya. Though only 21, Sidhartha has been on the board of United Breweries Holdings as additional director for three years, and is already an industry veteran.
With a billionaire father and a million dollar smile, what's not to love?
