Amitabh Bachchan has now started writing in Hindi in his highly popular Blog.
He is convent educated but possesses equal command over Hindi was hithertofore not writing in Hindi though his father late Dr. HarvinshRai Bachchan who had done PH.D in English Literature was a renowned Hindi poet.
One of his reader is highly displeased with Bachchan's shifting to Hindi writing and wanted him to revert to English.Bachchan has  said no to request.
In India speaking Hindi or writing in Hindi is considered a sign of backwardness.?
In China the most populous state in the globe,no one speak English.
So is the case in USSR,France.Japan,Germany,Italy,Spain,Portugal and other European countries.
In South West Asia, the native of these countries speak their own languages.
So is the case in South East Asea.
South American countries use very little English?
Why we Indians (including me) are so crazy about English?

I know how to speak n talk in english and hindi better than I can in talk in regional languages... it would be much better for me to talk in regional languages, much more usefull too  Tongue
I guess we talk in english as it forms a common language, breaking barriers and is also primarily a business language  Smiley

China which is a bigger country than us having many many more dilects than in India, also a British colony freed in 1949,use cantonese as their business language and not English. So is the case with Russia?
Why these countries do not use English as their Business Language?

i will be very happy to read Amitabh Bachchan's blog in hindi, ofcourse i can read english either, India is a big country like china and bigger than germany and france, my mother language is not hindi but our national language is hindi, we must be proud of our national language and we are not more under the british sovereignty.
